City of Bombay was an Ellerman Lines passenger/cargo ship which entered service in 1937. In December 1942, she was torpedoed & shelled by U159 and sank in the South Atlantic. This is a re-issued 1/1250 scale metal model, fully finished and painted by fine model maker, Albatros and this edition has fully painted decks.

Used in coastal traffic between Sydney and Fremantle but taken over in 1939 to become an auxiliary cruiser of the RoyalAustralian Navy, converted into a landing ship in 1942. 1949 first voyage as a passenger ship again, sold to Indonesia in 1961 and renamed AMBULOMBO for employment in the pilgrimage traffic. In 1972 sank on the way to scrapping in Kaohsiung.

At last, more stock of this famous and much loved liner. Unfinished when Germany invaded Belgium at the start of WW1, she completed as a British troopship. Here she is modelled in her post-WW1 form as a prestige transatlantic liner.
A 1/1250 scale metal model of the Salween, a British & Burmese Steam Navigation Co. turbine steamer built by Denny Brothers in 1938. The model is fully painted & finished, having arrived Sep 2016.
