CM Models 1/1250 CM179 Pasteur, the French liner with the large funnel, 1939
Introduced just before the outbreak of WW2 on the South America routes, Pasteur was soon converted to a troopship and served throughout the war in various shades of grey. Post war, she was retained as a French troopship (mainly to French Indo-China) and was eventually sold to Germany and refitted as Bremen (V). Modelled here with the prewar buff funnel.
