These delightful centre observation coaches add to the growing Lynton & Barnstaple Railway series of ready-to-run rolling stock vehicles from Peco.
The railway purchased four of these distinctive coaches built by the Bristol Railway Carriage and Wagon company and numbered 7 to 10. Following grouping these coaches were given numbers 2465 to 2468 by the Southern Railway. Coach number 7 has survived to join the operational fleet of the current Lynton & Barnstaple heritage railway at Woody Bay, North Devon.
The peco OO9 models faithfully represent the prototypes including the partitioned interiors with their open centre section. Fully decorated and printed, the models are fitted with standard OO9 couplings in NEM pocket to allow alternative couplers to be fitted if desired.
