Heljan OO9 9960 SR E188 Lew Lynton & Barstaple Railway 2-6-2T Southern Lined Green Livery
After taking over the Lynton and Barnstaple line the Southern Railway ordered another 2-6-2 tank engine from Manning Wardle to supplement the existing locomotive fleet. The new locomotive was mechanically similar to the original L&B engines, but featured a straight-backed cab of more modern appearance. The new E188 was named Lew, following the L&B practice of naming locomotives after local rivers.
