Albatros 1/1250 AL117 Romsey, tug/tender based at Southampton, 1929-62
Romsey was the Alexander Towing Co.s large tug/tender and was based at Southampton to assist with the docking of the ocean liners and to ferry passengers out to the european liners that didn't want to enter port to pick up passengers from Britain. The largest of these hybrid vessels was the Red Funnel's "Calshot", also available from Antics. These models are fully finished and painted metal models to a consistent scale of 1/1250.

The Clausentum-class tugs received a new livery postwar to match the red funnels of the Cunard liners using the Southampton Ocean Terminal. This 1/1250 scale waterline model represents either Canute or Clausentum from 1946-58 as they emerged from war service and is made by Solent Models number SOM 25b.
