Coastlines 1/1250 CL-B01 Oil Refuelling Barge, Southampton Harbour, 1938 onwards

A 1/1250 scale resin model of the oil refuelling barge used by transatlantic liners at Southampton by Coastlines models CB-01.

The master maker came across the plans by accident. The result is a unique, detailed model of a barge which would save on turn-round time at the transatlantic Ocean Terminal. Refuelling would usually take place on the off-side whilst stores were loaded from the quayside.
