Tower models Lancashire & Yorkshire railway 0-4-0 Pug saddle tank. This model is fully assembled and ready to run, completed in all-over black finish with red buffer beams. Only lettering, logos and numbers appropriate for your livery choice are required to prepare your L&Y Pug for service. Designed by Aspinall for the L&Y the first Pug appeared in 1891, being completed by 1910.Under LMS and later BR ownership many of the class ended up working far from home. Ideal for shunting docks and industrial areas where sharply curved track abounded the light weight Pugs worked as far away as Bristol, South Wales, Cumbria and Yorkshire. The last of these engine remained in service until 1964. Two examples were preserved. Painted plain black for most of their careers, with a wide choice of LMS and BR era liveries can easily be applied.
