Bachmann 36-010 00 Gauge Collett Coach Bogies Pack of 2

Pair of GWR bogies as used under Bachmanns' Collett design coaches.

48 springs, sized perfectly for zero friction addition when used to add power pickup on 2.0mm axles (OO and HO standard size).  They are a delight to use. – Simply remove one wheel, add the spring and replace the wheel-set, making sure you note which wheel is ‘live’ to the track. Drill a small hole in the floor of the coach/tender/caboose etc, and solder a bit of fine wire to the tag end on the spring. Connect the wire to your flickerfree or loco pickups etc. You will be delighted these friction-free pickups. They will add nothing to the drag at all and will always be able to give perfect pickup as long as you keep track and wheels reasonably clean.

Fine chain with 13 links per inch, total lnetgh approx. 1 yard (910mm).
Suitable for finishing heavy loads and containers chained down to wagons.

Chassis kit for a 10 ft wheelbase wagon with LNER brake rigging and 8-shoe clasp brakes. Vacuum brake cylinder supplied so the kit can be constructed as a fitted or unfitted chassis.
Scale frame length 17ft 6in used for most general service merchandise open wagons and covered vans built from the mid-1920s onwards. Wheels and bearings required to complete.

Chassis kit for the British Railways 10ft wheelbase underframe used for the BR standard designs of open merchandise wagons and covered box vans. This kit is supplied with vacuum brake fittings and 4-shoe Morton lever hand brakes and can be constructed in either vacuum braked or unfitted format.
