Canisteo started life as a WW2 Cimarron class oiler but was enlarged between 1966 and 1968 along with 3 others of the class. This model represents these enlarged oilers whereas the WW2 versions are available from Navis Neptun. Canisteo served until the 1980s when she passed to the Reserve and in 2002 she was towed to Hartlepool for scrapping. Following the issue of a licence to Able, she was finally scrapped in 2014.
