Albatros ALK701A Germantown LSD-42 Landing Ship Model

A 1/1250 scale second-hand model of USS Turner Joy DD951 by Argos AS-78. These models are in excellent original condition having been displayed under glass since they were purchased new, see photograph.

A 1/1250 scale model of USS Bainbridge DLGN 25 by Delphin D26. This model has been re-painted in light grey with dark grey decks and hand-painted pennant numbers, see photograph.

Seaview is a 1/1200 scale waterline resin model of a nuclear powered, Polaris armed submarine model from the 1961 film "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea" by the new maker Future Fleets no.001. The model is fullyfinished and painted in medium grey and lightly weathered.

The maker asked that the model be photographed in front of the Coastlines model of the Bangor missile loading marginal quay for which he had designed the model of the large crane and this shows the large size of the submarine.

Seaview surfacing at the North Pole is a 1/1200 waterline diorama model comprising a blue sea base on which seven melting icebergs and a submarine emerging from the depths at speed. All parts are cast in resin and painted by "Future Fleets", catalogue number FF002.

A 1/1200 scale full hull model of the submarine Seaview which was featured in the 1961 film "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea" starring Walter Pigeon as her mercurial captain. The model is  a fully assembled and painted resin model with a crade to store the model without damge to the lower fins and motor pods. It is made by Future Fleets Models catalogue number FF004.

Seaview (II) is a 1/1200 scale full hull model of the fictional submarine from the Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea TV Series. The model is cast in resin and fully painted by Future Fleets who specialise in science fiction models. Catalogue No. FF005

This Seaview model is a waterline, 1/1200 scale, model of the "Journey to the Bottom of the Sea" TV series by Future Fleet Models, FF007. The model is cast in polyurethane resin and comes fully assembled and painted.

USS Wasp is a second-hand, 1/1250 scale, waterline model by Iskra, catalogue number T-2. The model is cast in an unusal resin which has a metal content and has been polished to a silvery finish around the name plate cast underneath the hull. The lifts and the dock door are separate castings and the dock door can be posed open or shut. This model is in very good condition, see photograph.

New for 2013! Red Wood was the first of a class of 5 buoy tenders. She was decommissioned in 1999 and sold to the Argentine Navy.

A 1/1250scale metal waterline model of USS Dale, DLG-19, a Leahy-class fleet escort optimised for missile air defence. USS Dale was completed in 1963 and underwent many re-fits and changes in armament and was re-designated CG in 1975.

A 1/1250 scale secondhand plastic model of USS Boston after conversion to a guided missile cruiser by Wiking WM523. The model is in good condition but one secondary gun barrel is missing and one missile has been fired(!), see photograph.
