Trident 1/1250 T1012 IJNS Kamoi, Seaplane carrier 1933

A 1/1250 scale second-hand metal model of seaplane carrier IJNS Kamoi converted from an oil tanker in 1932 to 1933. Model was made by Trident in Austria (T1012) and is in excellent original condition finished in dark grey overall.

Kamoi had a maximum capacity of 22 seaplanes but proved to be more useful as a tanker so she was re-converted in 1943 to a tanker but was sunk in 1945 in Hong Kong harbour and the wreck was broken up after the war.
