The GWR 4-wheel stock had a long life, surviving in general use on some branch lines into the 1930s and some remained in use on South Wales miners trains into the late 1940s. These short coaches are ideal for small layouts and typical of stock used on the minor branch lines and light railways which make good subjects for small layouts.
