Secondhand Mini-ships 1/1250 Ensign T111 Petya II class Soviet Union escort vessel 1967
A 1/1250 scale second-hand model of a Petya II type escort vessel by Ensign T111. Theses models were cast in the UK under an agreement with HDS of Germany and this model has red/brown painted decks and is in good condition, see photograph
These ships were an updated version of a WW2 escort vessel design with better electronics and modernised weapons fit. Similar ships were built for Romania, Bulgaria and China and one or two were still in service into the 21st century.
