The electrofog version of this crossing is all metal, thus it may require insulation (eg. using insulated joiners) to prevent short circuits and additional wiring to ensure correct power routing is achieved. Switch units PL13 fitted with PL10 series point motors on the associated points will enable this switching to be achieved.
