Navis Neptun 1/1250 612AN Borodino, a Russian Battleship, sunk at Tsushima in 1905
Borodino is a Russian battleship completed in 1904 and sent to the far east to fight Japan in 1905. She blew up and sank at the Battle of Tsushima.
This second-hand model is in excellent condition, see photograph. This waterline, 1/1250 scale model was made in metal and is fully painted and finished by Navis, 612AN.
Borodino, Kniaz Suvarov and Imperator Alexander III of this class of battleship, sailed from the Baltic to Japan to be sunk in the Battle of Tsushima by the Japanese fleet under admiral Togo. Orel was captured by the Japanese and served in their fleet as Iwami.
