Navis Neptun 1/1250 1242 IJN Katori, a Japanese Training Cruiser of WW2

Not particularly effective as major warships, these ships allowed the navy to have more hulls in the water than were allowed by naval treaties! During WW2 the members of this class were used in support of invasion fleets.
