Navis Neptun 1/1250 C5 Rossia, a Czarist Protected Cruiser, 1904
When she was building, the Royal Navy thought she might outclass their latest cruisers and so in turn they built bigger and faster ships (the Good Hope class).
This is a second-hand, waterline, 1/1250 scale, metal model in mint condition but it has black plastic topmasts instead of the white-painted metal masts of today's model. The hull casting is identical.
This model is based on a hand-built master created by expert modeller, von Stauffenberg. These "Copy" models set the standard for all Navis "N" models
