Campania held the Blue Riband for a time but was saved from the scrapyard to become a seaplane carrier in WW1. Campania missed the signal to sail with the battlecruisers to Jutland in 1916 and was sunk in a storm after colliding with some of the Grand Fleet battleships in 1918 when she dragged her anchors.
