Navis Neptun 1/1250 1147 HMS Emerald, a fast light cruiser design from WW1 which saw service in WW2
HMS Emerald is a second-hand, 1/1250 scale, waterline, metal model of a Royal Navy light cruiser during WW2 by Neptun, catalogue number 1147. The model is in excellent, original condition (see photograph).
Emerald was designed during WW1 for a speed of 35kt. The end of WW1 saw the cancellation of all but two of the class and HMS Enterprise was fitted with a twin 6" turret forward to test the design for the secondary armament of Nelson and Rodney.d
