Navis Neptun 1/1250 1112A HMS Indomitable British WW2 Aircraft Carrier (1942)

Indomitable is a 1/1250 scale secondhand metal model of the British aircraft carrier by Navis Neptun 1112A. This ship model is in good condition.

Indomitable was built to a modified design to the Illustrious-class with a double deck hangar towards the stern. On completion in 1941, she was sent to the Caribean to work up but was badly damaged in a grounding and missed accompanying HMS Prince of Wales and HMS Repulse to the Far East. After WW2, she was unable to accommodate jet aircraft in her low hangars and so was in reserve until scrapping.
