Rather smaller than the RAMB 1-4, class ships, the main armament was two 105mm (4") guns and some heavy machine guns but nearly all of them could act as minelayers, carrying 60-80 mines. Barletta survived WW2 and returned to mercantile service in 1948. Adriatico was sunk by HM ships, Aurora, Penelope & Lively, Brindisi by HMSM Uproar and Brioni was sunk by air attack at Tobruk on 2.11.42.
