This model is supplied in a plastic container with a moulded sea base and transparent dust cover and this can be used to display the model if desired.
Beaverdell was a former wartime built Empire fast freighter built in Britain during WW2 and bought by Canadian Pacific immediately after the end of the war. Originally, she worked across the Atlantic but during the 1950s she was sent to the Pacific for several years taking the name Mapledell before returning to the Atlantic with her old name. She was sold to Panama and was scrapped in 1971.
