John's Model Shipyard 1/1200 RN316 HMS Cornwall waterline kit of the heavy cruiser in 1941

HMS Cornwall is a 3D-printed waterkine 1/1200 scale kit of the heavy cruiser in WW2. The photograph shows a model made from this kit wearing the 1941 camouflage pattern that was in place when she sank the German raider Pinguin. Although she was not equipped with radar at this time, she did have radio direction finding equipment and the pattern was designed to make her look like a merchant ship as she appeared oner the horizon and to encourage the raider to approachand be exposed to the full armament of the heavy cruiser.
