Dapol N 2D-066-007 GBRf 66779 Evening Star Class 66 Diesel Locomotive BR Lined Green Late Crest

Dapol have announced a full upgrade of their N gauge class 66 diesel locomotive model featuring an entirely re-designed chassis and a newly tooled body.
The models will be DCC and sound capable with a Next18 decoder socket. Powered by Dapols' iron cored 5 pole motor the new models will deliver improved slow running and exceptional pulling power.
Number 66779 is the last new class 66 generation locomotive to be built. It entered traffic finished in British Railways lined green livery with lion holding wheel crests carrying the name Evening Star, also carried by BRs last steam locomotive.
