Including several lime companies in the Oswestry area the Steetley Lime & Basic Company (S L B) operated a significant number of these peak-roofed wagons which being non-standard were not pooled and carried the company name on their sides well into the 1950s. This wagon is marked for return to Llynclys, from where lines extended into several limestone quarries.
