The presflo wagon was designed in the 1950s for the conveyance of bulk powder materials, which can be loaded and unloaded by pumping. Ideally suited to the transport of cement many of these railway-owned wagons painted in the fitted wagon bauxite scheme were lettered for bulk cement. These were the general service wagons which often supplemented the wagons dedicated to specific companys' traffic which carried the large traders adverts on the sides.Â
