A new model of the Gloucester design single car diesel multiple units. This model is painted in the BR green livery with small yellow warning panels added to improve the visibility of the quiet-running diesel train to trackside staff. Finished as Western region allocated car 55006.
Model features a finely detailed bodyshell with a below-the-windows mechanism provising clear view through the windows. Fitted with directional lighting and provision for an internal lighting bar to be fitted.
DCC Ready. 6-pin decoder required for DCC operation.
These single-car units are ideal for modelling branch passenger services in the 1970s and 80s. The flexibility of these DMU cars allowed a trailer to be hauled, or another set to be coupled to create the train capacity required.
