Built by AEC at its Southall works , the first Q -Type double decker made its appearance in October 1932. Only 23 double deck Q's were built, withthe majority being bodied by Metro-Cammell and at a price tag of �1,225. Westcliff -on-Sea Motor Services was the only regular AEC customer to purchase a Q-Type double decker from new this bus had a 60 seat Metro-Cammell bodywork and was the only Q double deck in service not to carry a fleet number.
Finished in the early red, maroon/brown and cream livery, reg JN3457, destination Hadleigh, Pitsea, Stanford, Grays. model length approx 10.5cm, interior and drivers cab detail, of note is the finely detailed outside passenger grab handle
