The Huascaren was a German liner from the 1930s, sister to the Osorno, also modelled by CM and available from Antics, which was taken over by the Kriegsmarine in 1940 and convertwd to a repair ship and based mostly in Norway during WW2. Huascaran is perhaps most famous for attending to the battlecruiser Gneisenau which had been damaged during the battle to occupy Norway and for providing support to the capsized Tirpitz off Tromso during rescue operations.
