CM Models 1/1250 CM104 SS Deutschland Hamburg America Line 1900

A secondhand 1/1250 scale metal model of SS Deutschland of the Hamburg America Line in 1900 by CM Miniaturen CM104. This model is in very good original condition.

Deutschland was built for speed at a time when it was thought that speed was the best way of attracting passengers on the route to America. Unfortunately, the bigger and better NDL ships were more successful and comfortable and Deutschland rapidly fell from favour in Hapag's management.
