Bachmann OO 38-916 SR ex-SE&CR 25-Ton Dance Hall Goods Train Brake Van SR Goods Brown Red Ends
A new model of the Maunsell and Lynes designed 25-ton goods train brake vans built for the South Eastern & Chatham Railway following WW1 and formed the initial standard brake vans for the Southern Railway. These long wheelbase vans with full-length cabins and enclosed verandas were known as 'dance hall' vans, in contrast to the later and much more austere Southern Railway 'pill box' vans.
Model finished in Southern Railway umber brown livery with red painted ends.
