Argonaut's Royal Navy models often overlap those of Navis Neptun. In general, Argonaut models are more likely to represent the ship as built but Neptun models often represent ships in mid-WW2 condition often with enhanced AA armament and tripod foremasts in the case of cruisers. The pole masts on this model are fitted with a standard plastic mastused on many of Argonaut's models but a previous owner has cut the masts down to a more reasonable height, see photograph.
