Argonaut 1/1250 A102 HMS Scylla, AA cruiser, 1942

A 1/1250 scale second-hand model of HMS Scylla by Argonaut A102. This model has been re-painted in Navis Neptun Z21 medium grey overall and is in very good condition, see photograph.

Scylla & Charybdis were Dido class cruisers but were fitted with 8x4.5" guns because of a shortage of 5.25" guns. The high rate of fire was particularly usefull for anti-aircraft defence and they retained these guns throughout their lives.
