An excellent model of a standard BR 20-ton brake van running in the 1970s and 1980s. This model replicates the flush sided appearance of a van which had been re-clad using plywood sheathing in place of tounge-and-groove boarding and carries the TOPS wagon type code CAP, indicating a van fitted with a hand brakes, plus through pipe (train brake connection but no brake cylinder) and a guards' brake valve for the vacuum train brake system.
