A new release of the ever popular model of the Collett Goods 0-6-0 goods engines that were built from the 1930s for use on local passenger or pick-up goods trains. The type proved versatile and popular with engine crews appreciating the new, modern design and free-steaming boilers.
Bachmanns' model has been upgraded in recent years with a range of tenders available, and the chassis now incorporates a DCC decoder socket. Number 2251 was the first of the class, built in 1930 with a Churchward tender, released from an older locomotive. Era 3, 1923-1948.
