Bachmann Branchline OO Gauge 32-650DS BR D3 Skiddaw Derby Type 4 Class 44 1Co-Co1 Diesel Locomotive BR Green DCC & Sound Fitted

These 2,300bhp type 4 diesel locomotives were built at Derby works as part of the initial pilot scheme of diesel locomotives for British Railways. The engines were given the names of principle mountains, gaining the nickname of 'peaks' for the Derby type 4 design, later covering classes 44 (the original pilot scheme locomotives) and their later built derivatives forming classes 45 and 46.
