A high specification model incorporating laser scanning of the real railcars for accuracy in replication of the bodyshell and details. Slide mould tooling is being used to provide depth of detailing in the bodysides and underframe. The mechanism is to be concealed within the floor, below the window line and a close-coupling mechanism will provide realistic spacing between coupled cars.
