Hornby R3498 OO Railroad S&DJR 3F 0-6-0 Shunting Engine
Painted in the famous Somerset & Dorset prussian blue livery this Hornby model replicates one of the lines' 3F Jinty type 0-6-0 tank engines.
These locomotives were very useful, able to shunt the wagons of the Somerset lines' coal heavy trains, haul local goods and passenger trains and were frequently used as banking engines on the steep grades of the S & D route out of Bath.
