The New GWR 1995 onwards

Many of the railway companies have shown their corporate support for staff and customers with diverse gender identities with the painting of trains in the Rainbow diversity flag. GWR Class 800/0 unit 800008 was delivered in June 2018 in a specially designed livery featuring the Pride flag on both driving cars, a livery style or addition frequently referred to as 'Trainbow' livery.
This Hornby model of the class 800 IET train comprises the 5 cars of the unit, powered by a 5 pole skew wound motor in one of the cab cars.

The Mk.3 TGS coach is formed with the guards' van next to the locomotive at the standard class end of HST coach sets. The car contains seating for standard class passengers for most of it's length, with window bay used to create an office for the guard with limited accommodation for luggage and bicycles.

With the introduction of the new Class 800 and 802 IEP units on the Great Western Mainline, GWR cascaded remaining IC125 sets to rural routes, shortening them to 4 passenger coach 'Castle' sets. These Mk3s are also updated to comply with new regulations mandating considerations such as improved toilet facilities, disabled access and automatic doors.

At the beginning of April 2006, FirstGroup, having secured the newly combined Greater Western franchise, unveiled a proposed new livery with a graduated blue to purple body colour and horizontal dynamic lines. Originally applied to both coaching stock and power cars, upon refurbishment the power cars received a modified livery of solid blue/purple, minus the dynamic lines This train pack features representations of power cars No. 43087 '11 Explosive Ordnance Disposal Regiment Royal Logistics Corps' and No.43098 in First Great Western plain blue livery.

The Mk.3 TSO coaches provide the standard class passenger accommodation on HST trains. Usually 4 TSO coaches make up a full 8-car train formation, if you have the space for a full-length train!

Shortly following the popular British Rail Class 801 'Azuma' EMU were the nine-car 802/1 sets, with two units (801205 and 801207) entering service on 18 November 2019 onto the London King's Cross - Edinburgh route. As of November 2020, all Class 801 units have now entered service with LNER. This Coach Pack reflects two 802/1 Coaches dressed in GWR livery.
