Designed around the S.M.A.E fuselage competition formula by Louis A Heath in 1939, he could not have foreseen how popular the Ajax would become and the reputation it would acquire. It established the ‘standard’ for free flight construction for hundreds of designs to come. This achievement is certainly reflected in the approximately one million AJAX kits sold since its introduction to the Keil Kraft range in 1946. This model is true to the Albert Hatfull redeveloped kit from 1946 but redrawn in CAD to allow for accurate part fitment and laser cutting to bring this iconic design to a new audience.

The Invader was always a popular model in the Keil Kraft glider range thanks to the distinctive twin fin tail. The Invader is a simple to build towline glider that was originally designed by Albert E. Hatfull, and has since been redesigned in CAD. The polyhedral wing and dihedral tailplane offer superb stability while the sturdy stick built fuselage is extremely robust for those less than perfect landings. The two tow hooks also offer the pilot different launching options depending on the wind speed on the day.

This sleek cabin style model was designed by Albert Hatfull. The ACE became a firm favourite in the Keil Kraft range thanks to the swept back wings and long thin fuselage. The construction is simple with a basic stick build fuselage and a tapered wing design. The construction lends itself to a beginner as a first built-up model but the shape also rewards experienced builders with an impressive flight performance.

Designed by Albert Hatfull, the Keil Kraft Senator is a contest style duration model with a distinctive single wheel helping to keep the weight down to a minimum. The Senator is one of the best performing cabin models in the Keil Kraft range thanks to a simple yet efficient design. The construction is straightforward with a box style fuselage, undercambered polyhedral wing and underslung tailplane held together with rubber bands to avoid damage should landings be less than perfect.
