The RS 1 was built in 1893 for Shipwreck Salvage at the Colin Archer Shipyard in Rekkevig , Norway. The ship was later named the Colin Archer after its designer and builder.

The kit includes laser cut frames for keel & bulkheads, and exotic wood strip for hull planking. Also included is the wooden deck planking, masts and spars, metal and wooden fittings, and pre-sewn sail material and silk flag. The instruction booklet is very detailed, taking you through every step of construction.

This 44-foot Coast Guard is a very seaworthy lifeboat, designed to carry out search and rescue assignments in poor weather and water conditions. With a skilled and experienced crew, this vessel can carry out the most demanding of rescue operations. The vessel is self-stabilizing. Built in 1961 at the Coast Guard shipyard in Curtis Bay, Maryland, USA.

The Billing Boats kit of the US Coastguard features: ABS hull and superstructure with plastic fittings, mast in ramin, rigging cord. Includes Full size plan sheets and an instruction manual with English Text. Level: Beginner.
This kit is designed for static display use but with some modelling skill it can be converted to R/C operation.

Billings 1/75 Cutty Sark Tea Clipper Complete Wooden Ship Kit B564C
The most famous of all tea clippers, the Cutty Sark is today preserved for posterity at a dry dock in Greenwich. Built to transport tea from China, she was designed by Hercules Linton, whose ambition it was to outstrip the Termopylae, the fastest ship of the times.

Billings 1/50 Captain Bligh's Bounty Wooden Boat Kit B492C
An armed merchant vessel launched in 1787. The mutiny of the Bounty is perhaps the most well-known of all mutinies at sea. Together with loyal crew members, Captain Bligh was set to sea in an open boat about 30 miles from Tofua.

This kit features: plank on frame construction, laser cut plywood keel and frame components, wooden superstructure and decks, hull and deck fittings in wood, brass and plastic, mast and spars, rigging cord in various sizes and printed sails. Includes Full size plan sheets and the instruction booklet is very detailed, taking you through every step of construction.

In the race to conquer the South Pole, three names shone with their own light: Ernest Shackleton, Robert Falcon Scott and Roald Amundsen. The Endurance was launched on December 17, 1912 under the name "Polaris". Originally rigged as a frigate, she was converted into a three-masted brigantine and in 1914 took part in the famous "Imperial Transantarctic Expedition" to cross the Antarctic under the command of Sir Ernest Shackleton. After the shipwreck of August 19, 1915, they were trapped in the ice of the Weddell Sea. For 522 days they endured winds of up to 300 km/h and temperatures of 40 degrees below zero. Shackleton, together with a few men aboard the boat "James Caird", made one of the most memorable and heroic voyages in the history of navigation. Together with his entire crew, they achieved the most important feat of all...survival. The expedition is remembered as an epic story of overcoming, heroism and survival. A reasonably priced kit of a typical schooner of the type that was used for for different purposes, including coastguard work and control of smuggling along the coast, as well as carrying out the functions of a small warship.
