Aztek produce outstanding airbrushes, being good quality and also exceptional value for money. Easy to use and maintain we've found that they give good customer satisfaction. Available in a range of sets, Aztek should have something to suit. If the requirement is for general spraying the cheaper models should suffice. If finer work and shading is part of the equation a dual action brush is necessary.
Airbrush technique will differ with the type of airbrush being used (single action or dual/double action).Double action airbrush technique involves depressing the trigger on the airbrush to release air only, and then drawing it back gradually to release the controlled amount of paint. It is always important to begin with opening the air before releasing paint. By observing this rule, precise control of paint volume and line width and character can be achieved.Single action airbrush technique requires only one action for operation, depressing the trigger will release a fixed ratio of paint to air. Achieving different line widths requires either changing the tip and nozzle combination, or adjusting the spray volume manually.
The simple design of the Aztek, incorporating the needle and jet within the nozzle, allows quick and easy cleaning and differing effects to be obtained. No need to strip the whole airbrush down, just unscrew the nozzle, clean and change to suit the work in hand. The range is suitable for varying types of paint and minimum spray coverage of each nozzle can be brought down to a fine line, or adjusted for a larger coverage. Minimum fine line sizes are given below with each nozzle.
An airbrush, well maintained and cleaned, will give years of successful, quality service!
