Historical note: MiG-21 PFM is a modification of the most famous Soviet fighter. He made his first flight in 1964. On the plane, the engine, electronics and weapons have changed, so this fighter has become a multi-purpose. Based on the experience of the combat use of the MiG-21 in Vietnam, cannon weapons were again installed on the MiG-21 PFM aircraft. It was in Vietnam where MiGs clashed with the American R-4 “Phantom” and received the nickname “Phantom Slayer”. Actively used during the fighting in Afghanistan.
