Historical note: MiG-29S, or 9-1ZS according to the trademark designation named after them. Mikoyan was adopted by the Russian Air Force in 1994. This upgraded version of the MiG-29 fighter is equipped with a new SOU-29M4 firing control system, coupled with the Ts-101M on-board computer, which made it possible to fire more effectively at air and ground targets. The N-019M Topaz radar sight is capable of directing missiles with semi-active GOS simultaneously for two targets. The fighter is equipped with built-in electronic countermeasures equipment. The main objective of the MiG-29S is to protect small territories, important objects and military groups from an air enemy.
