This year is the 40th anniversary of the original Hornet’s release. To commemorate this anniversary, we are releasing a new version of the Hornet: 1/10 R/C Hornet EVO.

A Tamiya electronic speed control unit is supplied with the Hornet 2WD Buggy RC kit that was first introduced about 30 years ago and still popular today! A tribute to quality and durability of Tamiya products. Battery, charger and radio control unit are required to complete the model - see below.

About the Model
  • This is a 1/10 scale R/C model assembly kit. 
  • The 0.7mm thick polycarbonate body has the same shape as the classic body in Item 58336.
  • The 2WD chassis has the same bathtub frame as the one used in Item 58336.
  • While the colour scheme of the original Hornet is carried over, this kit features the updated sticker design.
  • Please note that Item 58336 will remain available.
