Colombie was built in 1931 in Dunkirk with two funnels. In 1940 she was laid up in Martinique but she was seized by USA in 1942 and converted to the hospital ship Aleda E Lutz. In 1946 she returned to France and continued as a hospital ship in Indo-China. She was rebuilt in in Holland in 1948 with a single funnel and resumed passenger sailings in 1950 on the route Le Harvre-Southampton-Vigo-San Juan-Pointe a Pitre- Fort de France- La GuairĂ¡-Trinidad-Barbados and was also used for cruises. The model is based on 1960.
In 1964 she was sold to Greece and became Atlantis then Atlantica until scrapping in Greece and Spain in 1970
