The Challenger 3 (CR3) is the British Army's next-generation, digitally enabled Main Battle Tank (MBT). Developed by Rheinmetall BAE Systems Land (RBSL) a joint venture between the UK's BAE Systems and Germany's Rheinmetall—the program focuses on heavily modernising existing Challenger 2 hulls with an entirely new turret, cutting-edge armor, and advanced digital systems.
