The Flak 38 was a 20 mm anti-aircraft cannon used by German forces throughout WW2 and was by far the most numerously produced German artillery piece throughout the war. The guns could be mounted in a variety of ways, notably the Flakvierling 38 which combined four Flak 38 cannons in a single mounting. This could be used as a stand-alone weapon system with its own SdAh 51 or SdAh 52 towed transport trailer or mounted onto a tank chassis as a more. mobile air defence weapon system.
