Rhenania 1/1250 Rhe174A Junon or Venus, French Minerve-class submarines, 1935

A 1/1250 scale metal model,painted green, of the Minerve-class submarines Junon or Venus. Three different variations within this class have also been modelled (see Iris & Pallas).

Junon served with Free French forces from 1940 and was sold for breaking in 1954. Venus was scuttled at Toulon in 1942.
