Since completion in Finland Ulysses had been the largest ferry operating on the Irish Sea. She was flagship of Irish Ferries working out of Holyhead for most of her career, she had the largest car capacity of any ferry in the world although her gross tonnage was overtaken after a few years. Irish Ferries have recently obtained a larger ship but there is no 1/1250 scale model of that ship yet....
